School's out, but no break for this retiree
URBANA – According to first-grader Gabriela Ramirez, retirement means "taking a break."
Well, Cheryl Milewski may not fit that definition.
After 34 years of teaching at Prairie Elementary School in Urbana, the student's teacher is leaving her classroom, but she's got plenty of plans for her next step: fishing trips with her family, recording secretary work at her church, curling up with some good books and maybe even helping out at her old school – the days will be packed.
But first, the last day.
