Street names honor fallen soldiers

MAHOMET – It means a great deal to Christina Penrod that when her 1-year-old son Colin grows up, he will have something to show his friends and say, "That's my Dad."

Thanks to American Legion Mahomet Post 1015 and the Mahomet Village Board, Colin's dad is one of two fallen soldiers who will be remembered with honorary street signs in Mahomet.
