The Tri-City Country Club has served Villa Grove, Newman and Tuscola for more than 50 years, but club board treasurer Chris Vandeventer said anyone can join.
"We get lots (of members) from the Philo area, from Tolono," Vandeventer said, "people from anywhere close enough that it's convenient for them to come down and golf."
The country club features a nine-hole course and is home to men's and women's leagues, golf tournaments and even the Villa Grove High teams' meets.
It also boasts a restaurant that offers lunch on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between March and November. Members can eat dinner there on Friday and Saturday evenings between March and December.
Last year, the club's dues were $675 for a single membership, $810 for a family membership, $540 for a junior membership for nonstudents younger than 25, and $90 for students.
