WESTVILLE – Village officials approved an intergovernmental agreement Tuesday that will have them helping to collect overdue sanitary sewer bills.
Under the agreement with the Westville-Belgium Sanitary District Board, the village will be notified when sanitary-sewer customers are 30 or more days late in paying their bills, at which point representatives from the sanitary district and the village will turn off the water until the bills are paid.
