Champaign crews picking up storm debris
CHAMPAIGN – Residents in certain parts of Champaign hit hard by Friday's storms will get a helping hand from the city.
Street Supervisor Kyle Schneider said public works crews will pick up limbs and other storm debris from homes north of Kirby Avenue and east of Mattis Avenue beginning immediately and continuing through Monday. Limbs must be out no later than 8 a.m. June 29 and should be on the parkway at the curb but not in the street.
