Sanitary district proposal aims to simplify collection process
URBANA – Customers overdue on their sewer bills will probably face a streamlined collection process, including a collection process that would be several weeks faster.
Members of the Urbana & Champaign Sanitary District board heard a proposal at their monthly meeting Thursday to change the collections process. The three-member board will consider approval of the policy changes next month.
